Fast Five

Here it is the 5^th sequel to the famous, ‘Fast and the Furious’ series. The movie continues the story from the previous 4th film called ‘Fast & Furious’. The story is about Vin Diesels character ‘Dominic’ and his crew back in action still finding themselves on the wrong side of the law facing a Drug lord and a Federal agent highly committed to getting them behind bars. The film has been shot in Rio with few actors returning from the previous movies such as Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Matt Schulze and Ludacris other than Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.

The movie has mostly used muscle cars such as the Dodge Charger and the Ford GT40. There are exciting well shot and edited car chases as well as the fighting and battle action.

This movie is not entirely what one would expect from a movie of the Fast and the Furious series. The series started off with Illegal Street racing races which gave the audience excitement and driving thrills and which then later on became all about cars; expecting new cars and racing. Now though the picture is almost completely different. This movie has very little races and not as many new cars like you would expect. The series now has become closer to other action movies with a story and more guns fighting than cars and races.

But while all that is there, the movie still gives you a thrill. You still feel like Jumping in your car right after watching this movie and doing burnouts and speeding, and this is because of the car chases which are very well directed. The story and the action in the movie still keep you locked in the movie and though from the outside the movie may seem different you still get almost the same thrill from the previous earlier movies of the series. The CGI in the film (Computer generated imagery) is also much better than the previous film in which you could clearly tell the areas which were real and which were entirely CGI. In this movie however they are much will designed and applied.

Overall the movie is a must see. It has very good action and car chases and will excite and thrill, the story is not too bad either.
